Since 1994, the Government has promoted the use of electric or hybrid vehicles with electric-gasoline engines in the Principality, in particular by granting a purchase bonus. This allows the fleet of ecological vehicles to continue to grow steadily, which since the end of 2019 has been 18% for electric vehicles and 16% for hybrid vehicles. With 3,205 electric and hybrid vehicles registered, the Principality currently has a fleet of 6.80% ecological vehicles. In order to continue these efforts along this environmental path, the Environment Department wished, while preserving paper resources, to provide more comfort to users by setting up the teleservice. The latter allows you to request help from your home for the purchase of an electric or electric-gasoline hybrid vehicle with CO2 emissions of 110 g / km or less. This online process, accessible via the link , has the advantage of speeding up the processing of files and informing the user of the progress of his request by connecting with his identifier to the site of the Princely Government. As a reminder, for four-wheel vehicles emitting less than 21 g / km of CO2, the aid amounts to 30% of the base price including tax of the vehicle, excluding options, with a ceiling of 10,000 euros. As for hybrid vehicles, they benefit from a flat-rate premium of € 6,000 for vehicles emitting 21 to 50g / km of CO2, € 5,000 for those emitting 51 to 60 g / km of CO2 and € 3,000 for vehicles emitting 61 to 110 g / km of CO2. In addition, in order to encourage taxi drivers and large discount companies to equip themselves, as part of their activity, with more virtuous vehicles, the latter can benefit from an additional flat-rate aid of 3,000 euros, which comes from: 'add to the help described above. In addition, for electrically assisted bicycles, with a power less than or equal to 250 W and not registered, whose owners reside in the Principality, a subsidy is granted which amounts to 30% of the purchase price including tax of the vehicle, excluding option, capped at 400 euros. Registered electric bicycles with a power greater than 250 W benefit from the purchase aid allocated to electric two-wheelers, tricycles and quadricycles which amounts to 30% of the base price including tax of the vehicle, with a ceiling of € 3,000. For hybrid two-wheelers emitting 45 g / km of CO2 maximum, the premium is € 800. For vehicles eligible for VAT recovery, the purchase aid is calculated on the base price excluding tax.
